Our experience with Ewelina was amazing, when we first visited her to meet Kazimir (Kashi) we saw that it is a home where the cats and kittens are treated like members of the family. Ewelina took care of everything so that when it was time for him to come home with his new family, as well as being fully registered, vaccinated and neutered he was completely house-trained and well socialised so it was so easy for him to settle in his new home. "We are so grateful to Ewelina for allowing our beautiful cat Dolly to become part of our family in December 2020. I had wanted a cat for a long time but due to my boyfriend’s allergies we were unable to adopt a rescue, so when I discovered Siberian cats it was the perfect solution. I was a little nervous about adopting a cat through a breeder as I had always grown up with rescues, however Ewelina made the whole process as transparent and as easy as possible.

I was lucky to be able to visit the cattery in person and meet Dolly when she was 2 months old. Her home was clean and tidy and the kittens were free to run around and safely satisfy their curiosity, while Dolly’s mum and the older cats looked very happy, relaxed and well looked after. Ewelina really gets to know her kitten’s personalities well, allowing her to match and the right kitten to the right type of cat parents who will suit that kitten best. Dolly has always been a little shy and when I first met her she was happy to be handled but (being the wriggly, headstrong cat she is) soon wanted to get down off my lap and have a run around! When her sisters came in she found a spot under the coffee table, preferring to hang back and watch the fun before starting to investigate and slowly get involved. I think this was why Ewelina chose Dolly for us as we are much quieter household with it just being my boyfriend and myself, meaning Dolly has had the opportunity to grow in confidence as an only cat.

After reserving Dolly Ewelina provided lots of information before we got her to make sure we were as prepared as could possibly be for our new arrival, and sent regular updates and pictures of Dolly’s progress. Even after we got Dolly we stayed in regular contact, with Ewelina answering all of our questions and concerns quickly.

Ewelina sets strong boundaries when the kittens are growing up, establishing feeding routines, getting them used to not being allowed in certain rooms and making sure they use scratching posts rather than carpets or furniture. This made carrying on the training process much easier as Dolly continued her development with us. At the same time Ewelina makes sure the kittens got lots of individual handing and cuddle time, while having them grow up around her children also helps with their socialisation.

Dolly’s general health has been very good whilst she’s been with us. Last year we discovered she had an allergy to her dry food, but since changing to a hypoallergenic dry food she has been in perfect condition - the vets adore her whenever she goes in for her annual check ups!

Dolly has just turned 3 and she really is the queen of all she surveys! She loves human company, and will follows us around the house, “helps” us with whatever we’re doing, and greets us at the door when we come home. She has a lovely temperament and is gentle, affectionate, curious and lots of fun - she even plays fetch with toy mice and tissue paper.

Dolly has really changed our lives for the better and we can’t imagine life without her! She’s so well natured and I believe that’s down to her formative months with Ewelina and her family."

"We really did our research when looking for a kitten and there was no one that compared to Lina and her Ergaki cattery. "The first time I spoke to Ewelina it was clear how knowledgeable she is about Siberian cats and how seriously she takes the responsibility of preparing the little ones for their new homes. She answered all of our questions and even volunteered information we hadn't even thought to ask for yet, around allergy testing and what to look for in breeders. What really struck me through the whole process was actually how much attention she paid to the cats' emotional welfare and socialisation, even through the challenges of lockdown!

Sable and Jasper have incredibly affectionate and distinct personalities as a result. Sable is incredibly curious and will often follow me around the house with little chirps, as though commenting on everything we're doing. Jasper will be the first to greet any new visitors to the house, ready for cuddles and tickles wherever he can get them from! The two are siblings and get on incredibly well. They're growing into strong and healthy cats and are well worth the price paid. I look forward to having them as my companions for many years to come!

"After doing a lot of research online I came across Ewelina’s cattery which was exactly what I was searching for. A loving family environment where the kittens have been well-cared for and adored from the moment of birth until their adoption. Ewelina’s love for the breed is evident in all of her interactions. She assures that each kitten goes to a loving forever home. Hector adapted to his new environment very quickly. He used his tray and scratch post immediately and we never encountered any behavioural or health related issues. He is an utter joy and we couldn’t imagine our life without him. He is smart, loving and playful and loves our company. Should we never need any advice Ewelina’s is always willing and available to help. I couldn’t recommend this cattery highly enough."

After online research we chose Ergaki Cattery because of Ewelina’s focus on breeding well socialised kittens and her training in animal therapy. She was friendly and professional from the start and kept us well informed when our kitten was born. We visited for an initial sitting and were impressed with the homely atmosphere and affection shown for all the cats.

We chose our kitten after a wonderful hour playing with cats in the litter. Prior to collecting him he had been fully vaccinated and all paperwork and microchipping was done. Providing a favourite blanket was a lovely touch. Nikolai is the most beautiful and friendly cat and had been well trained to use a litter tray and a scratching post before he arrived. He was a confident and well balanced kitten from the start and is now a strong, healthy one year old. We were very grateful for all the advice, support and information about equipment to buy prior to collecting him, getting a new pet is a big step and Ewelina made the process very smooth. We would thoroughly recommend Ergaki Cattery and the service they provide to others.
